In AutoCAD 2020, you can use the following steps to bring up a dynamic picture frame:
First, make sure you have loaded the AutoCAD 2020 software and opened the drawing you need to make the dynamic frame.
Type the “LAYOUT” command and press Enter to enter the layout space.
Create a new layout or select an existing one for frame editing.
Type the “-LAYOUTREGENALL” command and press Enter to force a refresh of all viewports.
Enter the “-DSETTINGS” command and press Enter to open the drawing Assistance Settings dialog.
In the Drawing Assistance Settings dialog box, select the Picture Frames and Titles TAB.
In the Picture Box and title TAB, locate the “Picture Box Type” section and select the “Dynamic Picture Box” option.
Click the “Browse” button, select a suitable motion frame boilerplate file (DWG format), and click the “Open” button.
In the picture frame and title TAB, you can make some Settings for the picture frame, picture frame scale, picture frame size, etc.
Click the “Apply” button and then click the “OK” button to close the drawing assistance Settings dialog box.
You should now be able to see the adjusted motion frame in the layout space.
